DANCING THE BABY (R1x72) Square set                           The Musicians’ Wedding  (72R)                   Collin

1- 8     1+3Cs Set&Link finish facing clockwise. 1+3W followed  by partner dance clockwise outside & round the side couples & finish facing them in the middle of the set (1W facing 2W, 1M facing 2M, 3W facing 4W, 3M facing 4M)

9-16   1+2Cs & 3+4Cs dance RH across. 1+3Cs then snake chase around each other to the left to finish in each other’s positions while on bar 12 2M+4M pull back LSh & turn their partner LH.

17-32   2+4Cs repeat bars 1-16 (all couples finish facing in) 

33-40 All the W dance RH across 3 pls, rotate on the spot (pulling back RSh on bar 36) to face M. All set & change pls LH (W finish on outside facing in, M face in)

41-48   M dance RH across 3 pls, rotate on the spot (pulling back RSh). All set, turn partner ¾ LH to finish in a square (W, on M left, M facing in, W facing out)

49-60 All dance ¾ reverse Schiehallion reels (3 pls to left) to end in original places

61-64 All ½ turn partner LH to finish facing in, all set

65-72 8 Hands round & back.

Hi everyone, it’s bring the grandkids, friends, neighbours & family night this week, but we will ask visitors to sit out one dance and that is the,  The Aviator.  This dance will be taught.

1- 8     1C followed by 2C dance down the middle, cast up round 3C on own sides, dance in & up to top, 1C casting to 2nd place.

9-16     2+1+3Cs dance Grand Chain (2M & 1W end facing out)

17-24   2W+1M turn RH 1½ & dance ½ way round clockwise While 2M+1Wdance ½ way round anticlockwise & then turn LH 1¼ times to end facing partners.

25-32 2+1Cs dance diagonal reel of 4 ending on own sides with 1C in 2nd place. 213

1- 8     1C cross RH & cast 1 place, lead down LH crossing below 3C & cast up to 2nd place own side

9-16    2+3Cs petronella turn into middle & set, 1C petronella turn into middle (1W between 2C 1M between 3C) & all set

17-24   2+1W & 1M+3M (both couples dancing in tandem) dance an Alternating Tandem reel of 4 with 2M & 3W up/down (2M & 3W do not pass LSh at end of reel but curve on to the end of the line) to end M facing down, W up

25-32   All chase clockwise ½ way to own sides & turn partner RH. 3 1 2
