1s+4s+3s (bottom 3 couples) dance the Knot (finish 2 3 4 1)

2s+3s also 4s+1s dance LH across & RH back

9-16
1s balance in line with 1st corners then face 1st corners & set, 1s pivot to right again & balance in line with corners then turn ptnr RH to face 2nd corners

17-24
1s balance in line with 2nd corners then face 2nd corners & set, 1s pivot to left again & balance in line with corners then turn prtnr LH to end 1L facing 2s, 1M facing 3s

25-32
1s dance RH across (1L with 2s & 1M with 3s), 1s change places passing RSh & dance LH across with other couple (= teapots). Finish 2 1 3

1s dance in & cast off one place (2s step up), dance down between 3s & cast up to 2nd place.

9-16
2s+1L also 1M+3s dance RH across & 1s pass RSh to dance LH across with other couple, 1s end back to back in the middle (1M facing up, 1L down) facing 2s/3s (2s facing down, 3s up NHJ)

17-20
All set, 2s & 3s make arches, dance down/up to meet as 1s dance under arches. Finish 1M in 1st place, 1L in 3rd place (facing down/up) & 2s & 3s back to back in middle NHJ (2s facing up, 3s down).

21-24
All set, 2s & 3s making arches dance to ends ready to cast into reel while 1s dance under arch, pass each other LSh and finish between end couple facing 1st crnr

25-32
2s+1L also 1M+3s dance LSh reels across (2s+3s make loops into the reel) to end 2 1 3. All set.

2s start while 1s+4s+5s dance mirror reels of 3 on sides (1s in/down, 5s in/up to start)

1s set, cross down RH to 4th place (4s step up); 1s set, cross down LH to 5th place (5s step up)

New top couple start every 16 bars. Repeat until 1s back in 1st place, they stand for 16 bars while 5s continue bars 17-32 ending back in 5th place.

All four couples set. 1c with 2c and 3c with 4c dance 3/4 R & L to finish 2143.

9-10
The two centre couples are the active couples. They dance in, just past partner RS, and pivot to the right (so ladies face up and men down).

11-12
4M dances down the centre to below 4M place; 1M behind him dances down to opposite 3M place. Meanwhile, 1W dances up the centre to above 1W place; 4W behind her dances up to opposite 2W place.

13-14
1M, 4M dance out to the M sidelines and face up pulling back RSh; 1W, 4W dance out to the W sidelines and face down pulling back RSh.

15-16
Following the leader, 1M, 3M and 4M dance up into respectively 2M, 3M and 4M place; 1W, 2W, 4W similarly dance down to 3W, 2W, 1W place.

17-24
Repeat bars 9–16 but with 2W opposite 1M and 3M opposite 4W as centre couples to begin. Finish in order 2143.

25-32
Bottom three couples dance a 3 couple set and rotate.
