A dance for 3c in a 3c set.

1-8
All three couples dance mirror reels of 3 on the sides (1c dance in and down to start)

9-16
1c set, cast off one place (2c step up) & turn each other RH (2 bars). 1L casts off to 3rd place (3L steps up), as 1M casts up to 1st place (2M steps down)

17-24
All dance 3 couple Bourrel:

17-20 1M+3L also 2M+1L set advancing & 3/4 turn 2H to line up/down middle then pull back RSh turning to face own partners as 3M & 2L chase anticlockwise to face them

21-24 All set & turn 2H to own sides, to finish in positions 3 1 2

25-32
All circle 6H round & back

The Trysting Place (S) – 14 September

1c+2c Set+Link, then Set+Link again back to original places

9-16
1M & 2L cross RH & set while 1L & 2M set & cross RH, repeat back to places

 

17-24
1c+2c dance RH across & LH back to finish in a line of 4 up and down the centre facing own partners with two hands joined, Ladies facing down & Men facing up

25-32

1c+2c dance a Highland Schottische Poussette:

  • Both couples set HS, dancing out to the side (1c to men’s side, 2c to ladies’ side) and pivoting 1/4 turn to the right. Remember 1M and 2L have to start on the left foot.
  • 1c dance HS down Men’s side & 2s up Ladies’ side ending with a 1/4 pivot to the right.
  • Both couples set HS into the centre to reform the line of 4 in the centre, with couples having changed places. Men are facing down, Ladies are facing up.
  • Both couples, using travelling step, 3/4 turn partners 2H to own sides in progressed places. 1M and 2L will have another foot change so everyone can start this turn on the R foot.

Repeat from second place.

1s+2s circle 4H round to left, finish facing down NHJ. 2s followed by 1s dance down between 3s & cast up (2s to top place & 1s to 2nd place)

9-16
1s dance 2x 1/2 diagonal R&L (1M down / 1L up each time), to finish (3)1(2)

17-24
1s dance 1/2 figures of 8, 1L up round 3s, and 1M round 2s.  All set & 1/2 turn partner RH

25-32
All dance 3 couple Allemande, ending with 1s casting to 3rd place as 3s dance up to 2nd place
